hurt hand

hurt hand

i guess i landed wrong on my hand or something while wrestling and it hurts a little bit below my midle and pointer knuckle. what should I do?

If it's not debilitating, just wait it out. Give it a few days and see if it heals.

welll it is a little swolen. i guess i had wrestling from 3:30-6:30 and i hurt it around 5:30 so i used it for an hour. then i boxed with it from 6:35-8:00 and i was hitting with that hand so it should be fine. it just hurts alot

I would ice it tonight and play it by ear tomorrow at wrestling. If it's still bothering you I would take it easy on the boxing for a day or 2.

Sounds like a sprain, after it goes away do some hand strengthening stuff like fingertip push-ups and get some racquetballs to carry around and squeeze them when you are bored or waiting in lines. Thats what I did my jr and sr year of highschool, everyone knew me by the 2 blueballs and gallon jug of water I carried around. Thats something you should really do is carry around a big bottle of water to stay hydrated, after I started drinking a lot of water I didn't get as many injuries in football, even after the games I wasn't as sore....
