My wife has found a breast lump
We have seen two doctors and both have said that the lump doesnt feel like a cancerous growth and she has been reffered to our breast clinic for further tests.
My wife is extremely dilligent, she is 42 and checks herself every month after her cycle and she has only just found this lump this week, it wasnt there last month. Obviously I know that noone here can say for sure what it is but this is what it feels like A firm pea, smooth, its quite hard (not rough) its loose and moves around very easily, . If anyone has had similar experiances and anything reasurring to say it would be nice Thx! |

Her thyroid is probably fucked up from the all the soy in her diet which is causing her body not to use iodine properly and making her deficient. Lack of iodine causes fibrocystic lumps in the breasts. STop the soy for a month and add in some dulse or kelp natural food source. My gf and I both had iodine test done and both found to be 50% below the saturation limit. Right now we both are doing 50 mgs of ioderol a day to replenish iodine. A posibble theory why lumps forms could be alteration in estrogen metabolism causing carcigneic metabolites to float around (16 and 4 hydroy). DIM will help control estrogen metabolism and estrogen domaince

good gracious, I read so many things! Iv read that soya can help to thin out breast tissue hence reducing risk and iv read ur post and other articles which hints that soya can cause breast lumps!! Now Im concerned that her eatin soya protein isolate for the past year or so may have given her cancer. Last edited by britlifter : 06-23-2007 at 04:51 PM. |

Every thing in moderation plus my gf was vegiteran for many years and lived off tofu /soy protein ect and now she is paying the price due to ovarain cyst which can be reduced when iodine levels are brought back into play as well as me getting her thyroid up to top 70-80% vs bottom baseline. I beleive in optimal health and not being "normal" Normal amercians are not healthy Plus all this IBS bullshit drs are telling you is do 90% Enocrine imbalances main adrenal and thyroid dysfunction which is under treated. With out thyroid you can not make serotonin no wonder why people are fucken depressed and on paxil when treat the thyroid/adrenals depression goes away
