Problem With Left Knee
A few weeks ago, I noticed a "popping" noise in my left knee whenever I would do squats. After discovering this, I came to realize that it made the same noise whenever I would do lungues and the leg press. I've refrained from doing the above exercises for a few weeks in the hopes that the problem would remedy itself, but so far it hasn't gotten any better. The culprit seems to be the "knob" on the outside of my knee (sorry but I'm not sure what it's called). It doesn't cause me significant pain when I exercise, but it's unnerving trying to squat deep and hearing your knee pop. Does anyone know what could be causing this, and what I should do about it?
