BODYBUILDING SUPPLEMENTS High Quality Supplements For Bodybuilders and Athletes. www.ironmaglabs.com I got this sharp pain when I breath in on the left side of my abs, sometimes I feel it in my back but I know its something internal. It all started when I did squats before yesturday and I guess I held my breath while pushing the weight up. some one tell me if they have experienced this before, and any Idea where this sharp pain could be coming from?

Sounds like a nerve issue. I had something similar when I tore connective tissue in my back. You may have strained a muscle in your back during squats that is causing a pull that interferes with a nerve. Good thing is it shouldn't be too serious and is fairly common. A few days(or as long as it takes) off then start adding comprehensive warm ups with dynamic stretching and follow the workout with some static stretching.
When I had my injury, a pain in my upper back was linked with a burning sensation in my mid upper right adbominon. It is pretty strange, but you have nerves running along side your back and ribs sort of wrapping you. |
