Sneezing fits after shower

I don't know what it is, but every damn time I finish taking a shower, I step out, and immediately start sneezing! I cant stop it, I cant control it, and it makes me feel like shit. It usually goes away after 10-20 minutes, but it gets extremely annoying, and ruins my mood in the morning. Does anyone else have this? Anyone know how to stop it?

No clue.. maybe you're allergic to one of the soaps you use? or maybe the steam loosens up everything in your sinuses and makes you want to sneeze.

I thought of that, but I sneeze in other peoples showers too. I did it when I stayed at my relatives house, and again at my mom's house. Different shampoo and soap at each house too.

Have you tried using no soap and/or shampoo to see what happens?
The soaps and shampoos may share a particular agent which is causing a reaction.

Yep, I tried that, but to no avail. I talked with my therapist, who specializes in Chinese medicine. He said that according to yin/yang philosophy, sneezing is a yin action, and warmth is yin energy as well. He said that when I take a hot shower, my yin energy builds up, and I have to sneeze to lessen it. He told me that if I wanna get rid of the sneezing, I should take cold showers. Seeing as it is turning cold here in Brazil, I was reluctant to do it, but this morning I forced myself under the freezing fucking water, and took a cold (REALLY cold) shower. I didn't sneeze once!

It's horrible to take cold showers, but it sure wakes my ass up, and I get to have a sneeze-free morning. Guess its worth it.

It may stop your sneezing but you could catch a cold......sort of a catch 22.

Voodoo? Hahahahahahahahahaha! Depends on how open minded you are, I suppose. He has worked wonders on me, and I thank him for sparing me many nights in pain.

And I haven't caught a cold in years. Not going to happen.
