My roommate's sweat bleaches his clothes or turns them red and orange

A year ago, my roommate went to Switzerland and ate a high diary diet consisting of yogurts, cheeses and milk. He has continued a relatively high dairy diet since he has come back, but for the most part, eats normally---chicken, turkey, rice and not much processed food.

However, since his flight back from Switzerland, he noticed that sometimes his sweat dyes his white clothes red and orange. For colors, they sometimes look like they have been bleached. It isn't a deodorant or product use issue as it occurs in various places around his body.

Any thoughts on this? We were thinking maybe it is a pH/alkalosis issue? We haven't tested his pH yet but as soon as we get a hold of litmus paper we'll check it out.

Please update this thread with how attacking your friend with litmus paper turned out.

    That sounds awesome.

I would guess its a product that he is using on his face.

I used products that had high benzol peroxide content. Or 1 other chemical... but they bleached my clothes and pillow sheets.

I came to post this. Damn benzoyl peroxide ruined a lot of my cloths and a comforter before I realized what it was.

I will never use the shit again. If you sweat at all after using it it will fuck your cloths up.
