Mother pulled her oblique?
My mother and I were taking out a stump. She was working the shovel and I was chopping the roots out with an axe. A few days later she had/has an immense sharp pain right where her oblique is. Doctors said it isn't a hernia, kidney stone, or bladder infection. I think she pulled her oblique because it hurts like hell whenever she bends to a certain side. Are there any stretches, or anything she could do to help this heal faster? Or is bed rest the best option?

I don't envy her, shingles is horrible. Wishing her a speedy recovery!
