Crepes
I find some recipes on the internet and then I change things to make them more healthy and usable in my diet.
Today is a no carb day and I really wanted pancakes but knew that was impossible so I manipulated a crepe recipe I found. I actually have 2 of them but this is the first one I've tried. It was decent. 1/4 C. Whey - plain or vanilla 1/4 C. FF or LF Ricotta Cheese 1 T. LC Milk 1 Egg 1 tsp. Baking Powder Dash Cinnamon Mix all ingredient and add a little water so the batter is a fairly thin consistancy. Spray pan with cooking spray and when the pan is hot spoon in and spread a little so it's thin. Cook at medium heat until top looks dry and flip over and cook a few more seconds. Place on plate and add your favorite filling. I smeared a speck of FF Cream Cheese and then a speck of SF Blackberry Jam on it. Rolled it up and there's your crepe. I'll post the other recipe if its any good next time I make it. |
