protein pudding

Hey i wanted to eat something sweet today , so i tryed to make some sugar free chocolade fudge pudding. I did that with water and nothing else so i realized that i could do the same shit just with only protein. So i threw it away and took two scoops of protein powder (chocolate) put some water in it, not to much, and stir it hard for about 2-3 minutes untill it kinda gets "puddingy" put it in a bowl and send it off to the fridge and wait for about 2-3 hours, it will not harden because i guess protein doesnt do that but it tastes so good almost like real pudding, if you wanted it sweeter you could also put some splenda in it. (or if ur on a bulk put milk instead of water)

I love making protein pudding. So filling. Some sf pudding(vanilla usually) and a big cup full of casein.

Protein and pumpkin + a few other goodies makes a good snack kind of like pudding also. Same concept.

Just powder and water = ick, then I tried protein powder and milk = ick, then I tried a pack of sf pudding with three scoops of protein and two cups milk = no better.

Oh, I did try a powder that tasted good today though. I was shocked! It was some powder from Syntrax that I got in my order from BN. Man it was good!

Hey guys..try the fat free sugar free jello instant pudding mix. I use one of the small packages, add 2 scoops of whey, and 2 cups skim milk. Makes at least 2 servings, depending on what kind of sweet attack you're having...

I tried this yesterday; awesome stuff!

415 calories, 3g total fat, 36g carbs (0.5g dietary fibers, 24g sugars), 62.5g protein -- the box says it makes 4.5 servings, but 2 or 3 sounds more like it.

Just letting you guys all know this stuff is great!

Just had to add a correction. I was looking over my excel spreadsheet where I have my foods recorded and found that my calculations were off; I had not accounted for the fact that there were "4 servings" per box. The correct F/C/P are as follows:

520 Calories, 3g Fat, 60g Carbs, 64g Protein

Sorry about that everyone.

Also wanted to emphasize that you need to use the INSTANT sugar free fat free pudding mix because the regular kind absolutely will not solidify whatsoever.. the INSTANT does a better job, but still doesn't solidify completely (at least that was the case with MY protein powder, ON).

Hey Kent, sorry, I shoulda said instant. With Any Whey brand, it does solidify pretty good, but I recently switched to ON as well, and it sure isn't the same!!!

Jules, no need to apologize; you actually did say instant in your original post; I was just curious if the regular kind would taste better or not and turns out it wouldn't solidify at all (after adding the protein).

Also, something I've noticed, for some reason if you keep the protein pudding out for more than several hours it gets really liquidy and is no longer considered pudding (but more chocolate syrup). Did this happen to anyone else?
