    egg white boredom-

    Hello,

I was just curious as to how everyone cooks their egg whites? (what do you add or do to them to make them taste somewhat good?) I've tried the basics like garlic powder and stuff. Do any of you guys know anything better?

I'm allergic to eggs. How much does that suck?!?
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain...

    Hey,

Nice to see someone eating carbs around here!! I've seen other peoples posts with oatmeal and egg whites in the same meal and was wondering if you are eating this together in some sort of concoction or is it just separately? If it is together, how do you go about cooking it up?

    Thanx

I make the oatmeal/eggwhite pancake or I make the oatmeal in the microwave while I pam-fry up some egg whites. I put the egg whites in the oatmeal, mix in a Sugar Free Davinci syrup and cinnamon.

I also make a variety of egg white/ oatmeal muffins in the oven.

I will also use cream of rice or flax meal too!

It sucks as bad as me being allergic to citric acid
But I try to eat about 6 eggs a day hard boiled (2 whole with yoke and the others without yoke). I think I would much rather be allergic to eggs than I would citric acid though, but on the other hand I guess that depends on the result of the allergy.

Looking for that recipe for egg white/oatmeal pancakes. I have a version that includes cottage cheese, but I'm off dairy right now...

i don't eat this all the time but it relieves boredom from time to time. they're like breakfast custards.

    4 eggs
    12 egg whites
    1t. vanilla
    1/3 c. granular splenda
1c. skim (optional, if i add this i use low carb skim)

pour into 4 custard dishes, place in 13 x 9 pan filled with 1 inch of hot water.
bake at 325 till knife in center comes out clean.

eat them plain or add some fruit

boil eggs w/out yoke of course, and black beans w/ hot sauce or salsa, yummyyyy!

sprinkle some flaxseed meal on top of egg whites too! im a big flaxseed girl, it gives a nice robust nutty flavor.

egg whites wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla with salsa. yummyyyy

You gotta have fun with the chicken first. So the eggs won´t be boring.
