Got a veggie ?

Ok, I've read a couple times now that eating some veggies such as broc., cal., and other high fiber ones actually take more calories to burn them off than they give off. So in a sense they are almost negative calories? It doesnt seem logical to me but im just wondering what everyone else says about this.
