Something I just whipped up for PWO?

Let me know what you all think of this little PWO shake i made.
1/2 c. oats
1c. Low Fat Cottage Cheese
1c. Lite Soy Milk
Crushed Ice

39g. Carbs, 38 g. protein or 33 minus the oats. and i added some splenda and cinnamon to taste and blended it in the blender. I know it could use some more carbs buts its pretty tastey. The ice makes gives it a milk shake texture and its very tasty. Maybe a new quick shake when on the go.

CC isn't really ideal for PWO.

Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.

PWO spike usually refers to the carbs. With protein, you want something that is going to be digested and absorbed quickly. ie whey. Where as Casein (CC)would be something good to take before bed, Longer to digest

Nothing bad, just not Ideal

Soy is a complete protein anyway...

But I agree, PWO you want the majority of your protein to come from something like a whey powder (isolate is better than a concentrate) as this will give you a faster protein uptake and result in a more anabolic response.

Also, why not use real milk instead of soy milk?
