Thumbs up Homemade Tri-O-Plex style bars (look like em anyways)

If you have a food processor, which i have recently purchased, here it is, perfect

I solved the macro problem by making only one or two at a time heres the recipe for 2

1. Dry ingredients:
- 40 grams Fiber One Cereal
- 25 grams Total Protein Cereal (sub in 25 more fiber one, or oats here if you dont have it, but protein will change)
- 30 grams Oats
- 2 scoops ON %100 Whey chocolate flavor, 60 grams

2. Wet:
- 1tbsp + 1tsp PB
- 1tbsp water
- 2 tbsp Davinci SF Pancake syrup
- Davinci SF Banana or butterscotch, whatever flavor you like, i bet caramel would be good too, or cookie dough.

dump all the dry ingredients in first in processor, pour on the pb on top, mix in processor, it will still be too dry,
add in 1 tbsp water and some flavored davinci, mix again, getting better
then add in the pancake syrup, 1 tbsp at a time till it comes out like a really thick cookie batter.

Dump it out onto a plate and form two equal bars, these are great, they weigh in around 4 oz each and look just like tri-o-plex bars, taste just as good if not better.

Heres the numbers for my version, you can work out subs on your own.
cals 311 34g Carbs 35g Protein 9.4g Fat and almost 14g Fiber.

ENJOY!!!!!!

This maybe my dry humour but I thought it would called tri-o-plex cus it's similar to myoplex but the name was already in use?

Cool. Alot less then the Tri-o-plexes then.

No offense to the dookie comment. I agree the trioplexes look like dookie too.

These look perfect. Where can you get this davinci stuff? Do they sell it at regular grocery stores or do you have to buy it special? Also i'm curious when you're transporting them how do you package them? If you put them in your pocket or something will they crumble up?

They usually only have a couple of flavors at grocery stores and usually not the sugar free. Go to their website and order direct from them - that's how I do it anyway.

Shipping that costs almost as much as a bottle = Not good

Most grocery stores carry S/F syrup. Sounds like a good recipe.

you dont even need the davinci if you dont want, try using some regular sugar free maple syrup and some cinnamon and splenda

So yup I gave this a try. I'd say they turned out moderate, but good for a first try I guess

Mine were a tad too gooey and they curve over when you try to hold them straight like yours are. Also mine seem to be really sticky and kept sticking to everything. I had to coat them in a little bit of flour to prevent them from sticking.

With yours did you take the picture right after you made them or were they refrigerated or something? I think they may firm up a bit after they're in the refrigerator.

you have to use as little wet ingredients as possible. add them in little by little, You should have to really squeeze the "dough" together to get it to hold its shape, thats the consistency you want, if its too gooey, add a scoop of protein powder or some more oats, or even sf ff jello to thicken it up.
