one is albacore, one isnt.

Actually albacore is like the filet mignon of tuna. It's supposedly the best. Other tuna such as regular tuna is fattier. Of course this isnt necessarily a bad thing. Also, albacore dont swim with flipper so thats a good thing for those environmentalists ou there.

One is Albacore, the other isn't

Thanks. I thought just the opposite in terms of quality as the Albacore seems a bit drier out of the can.Perhaps the fat content in other tuna makes it appear tastier.

Albacore tuna has like 5x more mercury in it.

As someone else has pointed out all fish, including Tuna, contains Mercury and other heavy metals. Avoid North Atlantic tuna and try to get tuna sourced from the Pacific as this contains less contaminants.

A few other ways that i like tuna:

Tuna Melt: Put one can of tuna on a slice of bread and put a slice of cheese on top of tuna. Microwave for roughly 20-30 seconds to melt the cheese. Put second slice of bread on top. Not good for those watching their carbs, but definitely a tasty way to eat the stuff.

Not sure what this is called, but take a can of tuna and mix it with some salsa. Add some Louisiana Hot Sauce and mix well. I read it on another BB site and at first i thought it sounded kinda gross, but after i made it i was impressed. Always looking for different ways of eating tuna.
