Green Chai
Being the (supposed) metabolic booster that it is, I have been drinking green tea for a while. I enjoy it but it gets old after a while. However really enjoying chai tea, except the high sugar content, I thought about a combination. The basic components of chai are cinnamon, cloves, vanilla, honey and sugar. Except for the last two, that is not a problem.
Great green chai(ish) tea: Loose leaf green tea cinnamon, cloves, vanilla (extract or bean), cardamom or white pepper Put in a brew bag and use boiled (but not boiling water), steep for 2-4 minutes depending on preference. The spices are up to you as far as preference, but be wearing of the cardamom or white pepper, use small amounts. Splenda or other sweetener is nice. p.s. i think cinnamon is a supposed metabolism booster too |
