This is one of my favorite recipes for hummus- you can dip veggies or pita bread into it- great high protein snack, and goes great on sandwiches too.
2 (15.5 ounce) cans chick peas (garbanzo beans), reserve 1/2 cup of liquid from beans 1/4 cup tahini paste 2 tablespoons olive oil 3 garlic cloves, crushed 4 teaspoons curry powder 6 tablespoons fresh lemon juice Salt and pepper, to taste Blend everything together in a food processor and then chill. I've also been known to add artichoke hearts to this recipe also. I hope you like it! |
