    Protein Recipes

    Does anyone have any recipes that use protein powders in them. I want to use them with something besides shakes. Pancakes, muffins, whatever.

    do a search....DP's posted his pudding recipe and the cake recipe...GP's posted the protein pancake recipe...I've posted protein bars

    Hummm no ice cream? I though I saw it somewhere, right now I’m looking for it.

    Yes...I've posted an ice cream recipe...and I think a capachino recipe

    how about a mock apple pie
    7 cooking apples
    3/4 cup oats
    1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
    1 cup splenda
    1 tbs cinnamon

    butter spray (pam)
    2 tbs oat or wheat flour

    pre heat oven to 350
    spray 9" pie pan
    sprinkle 1/4 cup oatmeal on bottom

    in a bowl mix sliced or shred cored unpeeled apples
    add splenda, cinnamon and flour mix,
    remaining 1/2 cup oats and protein powder
    pour over apples
    spray topping
    bake 35 min uncovered
    cover and bake 10 min more

    153 calories, 5 protein, 2 fat, 31 carbs

    how about cookie substitue
    1 cup old-fashioned oats
    2 scoops vanilla protein powder
    4 egg whites
    1/2 tsp baking powder
    cinnamon to taste
    1/4 cup raisins

    combine dry ingredients, then add eggs
    you may need to add water to help mix
    then add the raisins
    your can cook in a pan like pancakes or drop them on a non-stick
    cookie sheet and bake like conventional cookies

    cream cheese pumkin pie
    8 oz ff cream cheese
    2 tbsp ff milk
    tub of ff cool whip
    low fat graham cracker crust (2)
    2 cups ff milk
    1 can pumpkin
    2 pkg jell-o ff /sugar free vanilla instant pudding
    2 scoops vanilla protein powder
    1/4 tsp cinnamon
    1/8 tsp ginger

    mix cream cheese and 2tbs ff milk in a large bowl with wire whisk until smooth, stir in whipped topping spread on bottom of crusts
    pour 1 cup cold milk into bowl, add pumpkin, pudding mix, protein powder and spices, mix till well blended
    spread over cream cheese layer

    refrigerate 4 hours or until set, garnish with additional whipped topping,
    you can break the recipe in half or make two and take one to a friend

    Is that caloric count on Mock Apple Pie for the whole pie or per serving/slice??

    we should make a sticky or even a subsite with all hte recipes we can compile and non of the chit chat
