Fear cottage cheese no more!

BODYBUILDING SUPPLEMENTS

I have the cure!

Mix the cottage cheese (like 1 cup or so) with one of this individual coffee creamers (I prefer flavored, like amaretto) and 2 packs of splenda. Eat it with fruit.

It's not just "better" or "tolerable" it's DELICIOUS.

Not to mention the fact that those coffee creamers are loaded with sugars, HFCS and trans fat!

Jodi those things are tiny, they're like 15 calories...probably like 1g of fat and 1g of sugar. I don't think anything that big can be considered "loaded" with anything.

Anything with trans fat and un-necessary sugars is crap. There are much better ways to flavor your cottage cheese than add crap to it.

Ditto.

In a perfect world, I would watch every little damn thing I eat. And I would kill myself in that perfect world, cuz my life would SUCK.

Gotta have some simple pleasures here and there.

Absolutely. I agree. The day after my contest, its a tradition to have every single food that I swore off 18 weeks ago, and havent touchd since. My wife makes it a huge family gathering. But what I really like is inhaling 3 (count em!! 3) chocolate chip muffins from dunkin donuts, right after the contest....omigod I'm in endorphin heaven!!!!

Is there a brand of cottage cheese that doesn't have that stank taste? I buy mine from wal-mart, which i think is a Prairie Farms brand. I've tried everything from mixing it in a blender with chocolate whey and peanut butter and splenda, to eating it with pineapple on top. I just can't get past that nasty aftertaste, makes me gag. I may have to try this flavored creamer idea. I can eat salmon and tuna out of a can plain, but i can't hack cottage cheese. Isn't that weird?

actually, if you throw in scoop of protein (preferably chocolate) and the casein with peanut butter and some water, you 'll have a fine tasting chocolate mousse shake.

Been there, done that. No matter how much protein powder and peanut butter i put in the darn shake it still won't mask that bitter cottage cheese taste.
