Noticed that there isn't many photos on this site. Do IM members even workout?
It would be good to have a "rate my physique" section here to see what's happening with the IM members. This is a bodybuilding forum after all and I believe it would be a good addition to the site.

This is why I thought the tranformation challange was cool because people had to post up thier pics and you get to see what people look like. But thier are some assholes lingering around these days that have nothing better to do than tear people down. Not everyone can look like Built or SFW or sassygirl or the captn and alot of others that are on top of thier game, but thats why we are here, to learn it and live it.

I agree and the IM challenge is probably what has motivated me to ask although I thought it would be a great addition ever since joining here. I was quite surprised to find that there was nowhere on this site that specifically dealt with physiques.
For people who aren't and the top of their game it would just give them something extra to aspire to.
I feel that it's a shame that every now and then there are people who post a thread of their progress only to have it dissappear among the thousands of other threads.
It could also welcome powerlifters to post videos and photos of massive lifts and stats. Its one thing to talk about stats but to see it makes all the difference. Just for inspiration's sake.
It would also be good for young guys who have only been lifting for a few years. For example, 'My name is Joe, 22 years old, 5'11 training two and a half years. How am I going?" Great for advise and encouragment I believe.
There will always be assholes however it takes a certain amount of balls to post your pics on a public forum nomatter what shape you're in.

That's not visible enough. There is no attraction coming from the main forum. If it were a sub-forum, then it would yield more activity. As others mentioned though, there are a few mentally defective oxygen thieves in our midst, which may affect how serious it is taken.
Rating physique is not a "hot or not" question bro. It is just what it says. In bodybuilding, physique is everything. Size, proportionality, balance, leanness, all of these things matter to a body sculptor. i.e.: I'm 208 lbs @ 12%BF and have 16.5" arms. My biceps and triceps need work. Someone else pointed this out to me when I asked to judge my physique. I could care less, (lie), whether I'm hot or not when it comes to my body composition and proportion.

Sure pointing out which body parts need work or giving constructive criticism sounds good.
But rating? So when a new guy that is just getting into working out posts everyone is going to say 0/10?
That's gonna be pretty harsh.
That's why a simple 'Progress Pics' or similar title would be better. You gotta remember that not everyone on this forum is looking to enter the world of Contest BodyBuilding.

that would be really amazing and also amusing to see everyone for real, probably alot of inspiration but no doubt like that country song "i lokk better online".It would be nice if a journal link was right on your page w/o fishing through their posts to see if they have one. Most people wanna tlk smack but are afraid to show face, can u imagine if ur diet/wo journal tied into your rep status, that would turn the world upside down! i'm hoping to start a jornal next week on wendlers 531, weekly vid, should be fun, i've always been a class clown so i intend to have fun with it, but am more interested in the CONSTRUCTIVE criticizm(sp)?everyone should man up and see who's who with pics.Good thread/thought!
Exactly. So why not have a sub forum suitable for everyone to post in?
Its a pretty simple concept, numbnuts. The people who have put in thousands of hours at the gym, had a strict diet 24/7 and have years of consistent training under their belt post their pics and members rate their progress and give constructive critisism and advise.
The idiots who have never trained a day in their life yet feel the need to post their pics in a "rate my physique" thread get whats coming to them... a dose of reality.
You do realise that bodybuilding is also a competative sport, right?

To me its always been a beauty pagent, but I get what you're saying about the concept.
But the strict 24/7 dieting does not last year round, but maybe the gear use does.

Well its called bodybuilding not facebuilding. And beauty incorporates the body as well.
People always throw around the term "aesthetically pleasing" which last time I checked relates to beauty.
Plus hopping up on stage half-naked being judged by strangers at a table does equate to beauty pagents.
Seemed like that was pretty obvious.

So do the judges get a boner when the competitors are on stage?

Quit bitching u old fruit loop. Maybe im trying to sike people out so that others can win. If someone gets discouraged and quits because i called em a fatass, oh fucking well. Hopefully LW wins it.
Ya know, for 65 yrs old, you sure do cry a lot. Ur either arguing with troll accts or defending ur profile pic. Just kill yourself. And if prince paki decides to create this rate my physique thread, it would be voluntary. If you cant handle the criticism, dont post a pic into the thread.
On a related note, are you related to retlaw? You guys look a lot alike. If thats you in Your profile pic. Same smug, weathered appearance with atrophied physique...both appear to be sporting durags...both blissfully unaware of what not bigs you are.
