I would have thought you would vote for the whole Red Sox team.

No, I'm not a Homer when it comes to sports like you are.
Teixeira, Cano and Jeter all don't deserve to be starting at the All-Star game based on statistics. Cabrera, Youkilis and Morneau are all more deserving starters at this point in the season. Cano has been exceptional but we're again left with wondering "will the real Robinson Cano please stand up?" and there have been several players who have put together better seasons. The American League all-star team will feature three second baseman and Robinson Cano won't be one of them: Ian Kinsler, Dustin Pedroia, and Fresno States own Aaron Hill. And Jeter.. we all know the faggot fans will vote for this Minka Kelly fucking jerk off even though Jason Bartlett has been twice the player he's been this season. Man oh man - you can be a prick at times. |

Cano has more RBI's than Youkillus, imagine if Cano was batting in the 3,4, or 5 slot. The guys above have better numbers at first than Youkillus. |
|
You sound like Pee Wee Herman now..."I know you are but what am I"
|
|
Kinsler has been better than Cano in every sense of the game.
Imagine if Cano was batting 3, 4, or 5? He's batted fifth in plenty of games this year and if you really want to go that route, Ian Kinsler bats lead off but yet has more RBI's, Home Runs and Runs scored. This isn't a debate. Ian Kinsler is the better player and has been the better player this season. |
| You made a snide remark about how you expected my All-Star team to be all Red Sox when it was you who in fact wrongfully placed Yankees on the team even though they aren't deserving of it |
| It's not a "I know you are but what am I." You tried to rip on me for something that's become your trademark and as a result you are a Yankee Homer. |

Jeter's having a great year but Jason Barlett has been better.
I'm picking who deserves to be starting at the all-star game. What are you choosing? Who's going to get the most fan votes? Fans year in and year out, as you've proven in this thread, don't put the best All-Star team out on the field and now that the All-Star game actually "counts," it's a system that should be done away with. |
|
Of course most fans will vote for their favorite player, it's normal. I just figured you would have voted for 98% of your team, I mean I am shocked you didn't vote for your MVP Ortiz. It really was out of love..........we go back a long time and I missed you. ![]() I'm no homer, I try not to be. But if you would please go back to your threads and read them you will really notice who the homer is ( look in the mirror. There is nothing wrong with being a homer Sox, I still love ya kid. ![]() |

W No hard feelings. I know that if we carried these discussions over to a baseball board instead of a bodybuilding board, you would be laughed out of the thread. |
