I am interested in learning about zen meditation. Does anybody here practice meditation on a consistent basis, and how has it improved your quality of life?

it rejuvenates your mind and automatically body and keep you miles away from any disease ....

yes i and my friend does meditation regularly in the morning it helps a lot in our health and also increases our concerntration power. earlier we both were not able to concerntrate on a single point but now our conerntration power is much more than that.

Meditation is a best way to overcome various health problems. Most of the people are doing meditation because it has no side effects with more relief from health problems.I am doing meditation from 5 months ago and i am able to loose about 8kg of mine.

I do practice meditation 3x a week it helps to decreased anxiety and depression. Also improved my learning ability and memory and help me deal with my emotional instability as well. I feel at peace and relax when I meditate, I recommend you to practice it.

I'm actually thinking of starting something like that. Lately I've been very frusterated, have a lack of motivation, and just getting more and more pissed off and relying on booze to help me through these periods. But needless to say that's not healthy.
Where would one go to get some idea on how to start meditating? (web site preferably) I really have no idea about it.

I talked a bit about it here. There is a great audio book, Science of Enlightenment by Shinzen Young. It's a great way to get started.
