As most of you know I live in the UK, where everything seem to be twice the price of the US, im getting near the end of my On choc mint whey and was wondering if any of your brits out there know of any cost effective whey proteins. Im looking into myprotein.co.uk but it seems very low protein in comparrisson to ON.

I personally have just found All The Whey . com
They have a whey with concentrate but im lactose intolerant and have to use only isolates. Ive tried some of the "higher end" blends to have such an ill feeling. They are on ebay if you search all the whey and can be bought for around 4.60/lb. That is a steal, but only if you need isolates. Since you are talking about ON i would assume you could use any protein(concentrates).

Just giving you my opinion.

I prefer the isolates, although they are more expensive. For overall cost/quality, I'm a big ON fan too. All The Whey is next on my list to try.

However, this site will tell you grams of protein per dollar which is the best measure if you ask me - Whey Protein

Edit/Correction - Sorry but that site has mostly US stores. You can get an idea of other brands to try at your local UK shops though

Thanks guys but shipping from US to the UK is rarely cheap.

Id assume if you bought in smaller quantities you can get someone to ship it in a flat rate international box. I used to sell car parts all over the world, and when i could i would disassemble the manf box and place all items in the usps flat rate intl box. I think there is a weight limit on intl though(20-25lbs maybe).

Postage Price Calculator

Sorry, i thought i should have posted the information.

Now, i can not speak on behalf of any company, nor will i but all the whey(i only purchased a sample pack and was very pleased with flavors and that it was lactose free enough for me) sells packages without boxes, or tubs. give them a call and ask if they can smash 15lbs of protein into the flat rate box.

Worst case, they do sell in BULK. One large purchase of 50lbs should last you some time and only need to be shipped once.

protein for thought
