This year, I was able to get improved tools for both the fitness/performance focus (via Prowler push sled, drag sleds, sandbags, etc from EliteFTS.com) and targets (via ActionTarget.com) as well as better use of other training modalities.
More vids to come!

How long are your workouts? Do you do the programming yourself?

It's hard to give a length of time for the workouts, but the training day generally lasted 9-10am to 2-3pm, which includes lunch, shooting rotations etc. As far as actual exercise time, probably 90mins to 2h would be my guess, but it's all broken up. As their trainer/coach, I do the programming for the day.

man, you have an awesome job. What does their training look like once they are off course? Is it up to the individual?

Thanx. It's really more a side job, but I enjoy it.

Mostly up to the individual in terms of the physical/conditioning aspect for this team, but they have regular training of course for the shooting/SWAT aspect.

Thanx. My guys took 7th out of 37 teams at the CT SWAT Challenge this week, so all major goals were covered. Will write up additional comments when I get home and have some great vids to follow.

Nothing specific, but just more range time to keep skill sets sharp.
