A guy at the gym recently was giving me advice on how to increase your vertical. In addition to deads and squats(which i already do), he suggested that i do these hip lever extension excercises . Not knowing the exact mechanics of jumping myself, i don't know if i should incorporate them or don't even bother......any suggestions

I'm not sure how squats or deads could help your vert. I would think more explosive movements would be the way to go.

Squats and deads are the foundation for oly lifting. They definitely help your vert.

Where did you see deads?
And I don't know of many more explosive exercises besides power cleans. And did you see where I said jumping? |
