The families of some Sept 11 victims file a $116 trillion lawsuit against banks and the Saudi royal family.

I am embarrassed for these people. In a country of sue-happy people, this is the ultimate rediculous lawsuit.

As I sit here and think about this, I'm sure if Americans had bombed Saudi Arabia, that the USA would be paying billions to rebuild and in restitution.

I saw the lead plaintiff and the lawyer on the Today show this am. She was very well spoken and said that the US court system is their only recourse. They want to hold someone responsible.

They compared it to the PAN AM flight that blew up - they sued the Saudi governement - the governement settled and paid the families of the victims.

I just feel bad for those people. If all they ask of me is my support - they've got it.

I would imagine it was because so many people died and were injured, not to mention the billions of dollars lost from the collapse of the World Trade Center and the planes that crashed.

Thats because the Japanese still haven`t paid up.......I believe there last offer was somewhere around $8000 per lady for those they kidnaped and forced into prostitution.

I read somewhere ( I think it was either in Tokyo Underground or The Rape of Nankin ) that out of the billions of dollars paid out in compensation for WWII....Japan has paid just over 1% of it.......they still don`t believe they did anything wrong, and still refuse to teach thier children anything about it at school.....many young Japanese today have no idea they were even in a war at all.....they just think big bad America Bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki simply out of hatred or racisim.

If I was China, or Korea I would still be sueing thier asses off every fucking chance I got.
