Just a curious question for you guys. From what I understand, correct me if I am mistaken, HGH has the capacity to aromatize into estrogen. What I'm curious about is is this effect as profound as it is with test? And therefore is it reccomended, as it is with test, to decrease your bodyfat percentage to an acceptable level before running HGH in order to avoid aromatization?

HGH is not a steroid. Aromatase cannot act upon it.

Thanks for the response Built. Why is gyno then reported in some instances as a side effect of HGH use?

This I do not know. Quite honestly, I never looked at this as a problem until this moment (I'm female; breast growth is WELCOME LOL!).
My first thought is hyperprolactinemia.
Bump?

Where did you hear this? If not from a scientifically reputable source, I'd suggest you ignore it. I have never heard it, never read it, and never experienced it.

redflash, there is significant research in the literature evidencing gynecomastia with HGH administration. The mechanism is not yet clear to me but it does appear to be a known complication - even though I'm fairly sure that it isn't as simple as HGH acting directly upon aromatase.
I would love to understand more about this - hopefully some of our more knowledgeable posters will elucidate.
