Jerome LeBanner def. Don Frye by KO 1R (K-1 Rules) BIG KO

Big Suprise there. Silva is a fucking machine.

Jerrell Venetiaan def. Daijiro Matsui by Decision (Split dec.) 5:00 3R

Gary Goodridge def. Lloyd Van Dams by TKO (Strikes) 3:39 1R

Hmmmm.......Goodridge seems to be on a bit of a roll lately. I still don't like watching him fight.

Jerome LeBanner def. Don Frye by KO 1R (K-1 Rules) BIG KO

Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira def. Bob Sapp by Submission (Armbar) 2R

Awesome! Norgueira is so technical it's scary.

Hidehiko Yoshida def. Royce Gracie by Technical Submission (Choke) This will probably be ruled a no-contest because the ref. stopped the fight with no tapout from royce.

Wow, I would have thought Sak would have won this one.

Yeah...I still can`t believe Goodrich beat Bernardo three weeks back....he`s not very skilled ( means interesting to watch )at anything other than BIG punches.

I`m surprised both Royce AND Sak lost.....looking forward to see how he broke his orbit ( whatever the fuck that is ) on Sunday though.

REALLY looking forward to seeing the LeBanner vs Frye as they are both known for their punches.

BTW....who is Bob Sapp??

Is'nt that the "orbital bone"the one that your eye cavity is surround by??

Sapp is a 350lb (cut) ex-football player. He has very little skill, but he's so huge that it's difficult to do anything to him. Also, they were feeding him little tomato cans for his first few fights.

Ah yeah....I remember seeing him kill a couple of guy`s less than half his size.......he seems to have NO skill at all

I recongnize a couple of those names. I used to watch these fights all the time when I had a black box (cable converter)

One of the guys I work with is a Professional Cage fighter. His name is Mark "the Bear" Smith. Not all that impressive to look at in person but this dude is freaking lighting quick!! He's about 5'10 260, looks fat and is a little. But he so strong it's scary.

Just saw the fight....FUCK!!!!!! Almost a 130lb difference in weight! It was a great fight, but a dangerous one of Nogueira......the first ten seconds saw his tackle not work, he got lifted up and pile driven head first into the mat ....his face somewhat resembled mince meat by the end, but it was a great victory

Don Frye may have recieved permanent brain damage ( only half joking )! He copped a FULL power hook with, no real guard....went straight down....and started shaking like he was having a fit. You cannot actually see it thankfully, because there were about 20 people around him trying to help, but the comentators seemed VERY worried. Maybe twenty minutes later he managed to walk off...asking who won....and finally how did he loose?!?!?!? Maybe he should stick with Pride rules from now on.

Yoshida and Royce wasn`t too exciting.....I`m not sure what to think of it either........you cannot see if the choke was in or not......Yoshida later said in his dressing room ( not a media thing ) that he actually lost conscious for a couple of seconds, coming to only when the judge stopped the fight and he got off. Royce pretty much jumped straight up screaming he didn`t tap out.....who knows ......If he was out of it the Judge did a great job....if not it was a major fuck up. Either way Yoshida said he`ll fight Royce again anytime.

Sakuraba...and Cro-Cop...SHIT!
Cro-Cop owned the ring in the first round.....second round Sakuraba seemed to relax a little more and they were both doing well.......towards the end of the round Sakaraba caught a glancing fluke of a kick ( while Cro-Cop was on the ground and Sak was standing ) to his eye.....which swelled closed in no time.
I`d like to see them go again actually.....Cro-Cop is really improving a lot every time he fights, and it was obvious he came prepared to kick ass and wasn`t going to lose.
