OK, I am a proud American and I always love to see us dominate any sport. However, why was I so happy to see Team USA lose to Argentina in the World Basketball Championships? Probably because of the cockiness of most NBA players. I guess I am glad to see another country knock the chip off our shoulder. Granted, Team USA was missing Ray Allen, Shaquille O'Neal, and Kobe Bryant, to name a few.

The current dream team (yeah right) doesn't know what defense is if it smacked them in the face. Argentina ran so many back-doors on them it was pathetic.

The original Dream Team was special to watch, with all those Hall of Famers. The last few squads have basically given up on defense. Had Shaq and Kobe played this year, USA would have won.

I watched a little bit of that last night until I remembered that I don't like basketball anyway.

I think it's funny that their's only like 10 people in attendance, but it's being televised. The only reason I care that the US team lost is because there's 2 duke players on the roster, Jay williams, elton brand.

Ah, well, if you put them against the Lakers, Sacramento, or any team that is well coached with players that are used to playing together, they wouldn't have a chance.

Well, that's a shame and it would never had happened to the DT 1 or 2!!!!

The whole idea of Dream Teams sucks in my opinion.

the Olympics, etc. used to be a stage for amateurs and minor leaguers to showcase their talents to make it into the big leagues. Now the overpaid superstars take over, robbing the poor kids of a chance at glory, just to appease the American win all appetite and the IOC power greed.

Hey kids! Watch and see your favourite "hero" mock underprivileged countries and/or throw TVs out the hotel window."

I'm a little "if" about that one. I see quite a lot on NBA players represented their own countries which is a GREAT thing
