Curious about Catecholamines...

This question is directed more towards Built, but if anyone else would be able to answer it, I would love to hear your responses.
After reading Daredevils are Shredded, I started thinking. Is it the fact that the anaerobic intensity has increased too rapidly and the aerobic metabolism cannot catch up that the catecholamines are released? That your body just can't supply enough oxygen to the muscles that the body has to release catecholamines to increase the heart rate to deliver more blood (oxygen) to the tissues?
If this is correct, then wouldn't holding your breath while running also increase catecholamines since your body cannot deliver as much oxygen to the muscles and is trying to deliver more? (I AM NOT RECOMMENDING ANYONE DO THIS, just curious
)
Also, if catecholamines start the mobilization of fatty acids, wouldn't very low dosage adrenaline shots also do this without the grueling workout (again, just curious)?
Thank you in advance for your response =)
