I see people come in the gym and never break a sweat before leaving, but they still put in a good work out. I sweat a lot when Im in the gym, I dont know if by sweating Im getting more accomplished or I am over doing it.
Anybody sweat a lot or very little when working out?

Sometimes you sweat, sometimes you don't. It doesn't matter. Sweat has no correlation to quality of training. Just like the pump, it's simply a random by-product of training.

Gauge your training quality by your lift numbers, body weight, appearance, recovery time, VO2 max, etc.

Come to think of it, I prefer to not sweat much. Excessive sweating usually ends up in slippery palms, which makes heavy deadlifts, cleans, pullups, and rows a bitch.

I sweat a lot while working out but then again I sweat a lot just sitting.

Might as well slap a barbell on yourself and dish out some squats!

Am I over training because I sweat? Is this a serious question?

Evidently.

You're sweating because you're hot. It's the body's process for cooling off.
Try thinking back to your 4th grade science class.

Try snatches when your hand is outside the rough portion of the bar - it sucks.

Amount of sweat depends more on the individual's body rather than the amount of working out completed. My buddy has had an ipod for 1 week ,and he sweats so bad he has ruined 2 headsets.

i sweat alot because i wear hoodies in summer or winter. i like to keep covered up. but i drink alot of fluids too. keeping the muscles warm prevents injury.
