for some reason on this forum, certain links just dont work and i have to end the program running?

that sounds like an issue with your pc/browser, not this site.

I've noticed some site slowdowns at times, if you mean the link is slow to respond that could be the same thing.

that would be an issue with the web server, which is out of my control.
