diet for building mass?????

Hello,
I am just beginning to workout. What diet would be the best for me to gain mass? I am a thin to medium build, 176 lbs...
I have heard that a high carb diet might be the way to go.

Can you post your current diet ...there needs to be a proper balance of macronutriients...I assume you want to gain muscle, as opposed to fat?

You'll have to learn the lingo bro....around here diet simple refers to your nutrition habits/what you eat....not "diet" in the sense of someone on weight-watchers or something trying to lose a tonne of fat w/o exercising

sorry, sorry My basic diet it meat and potatoes. Rarely fast food. just the normal stuff , no bad snacks. 6 feet tall to go with the 176 lbs

Okay...if you want help, you need to give us information...we can't help you if you don't help us. You eat more than meat and potatoes....I guarantee it...please lay out a typical days worth of food, broken down into meals...how many times a day do you eat, what do you eat at each meal, how much, etc.

okay, (typical day)? no breakfast ( usually), lunch Maybe subway sandwich and a soda, supper, hmm.... whatever wife fixes... umm..beef roast, or casserole, or pizza, or whatever she finds in the fridge/freezer. maybe one soda thruout the day, usually gatorade or milk. I eat the occasional candy bar maybe once a week.

You can't "gain mass" if you don't eat! Things to read:
