Who's watching? What team are you rooting for?

I've got to go with the Giants. I would love to see Barry Bonds win a title. It would rank up there with John Elway and Ray Bourque winning championships near the end of their careers. But whoever wins, I won't mind. It'll be good to see a new team win it. None of the usual teams.

Since my predictions of the A's and Diamondbacks being in the World Series went out the door, I could be wrong with this prediction as well. I'll have confidence and root for Barry Bonds and company, the SF Giants to win the WS. But I'm sure Anaheim won't just hand it over to them.

What a game tonight. Game 2 was very good. I just hope that the rest of the series goes as well as the first two. I'm pulling for the Angels myself. I hope this series goes the entire seven games!

yes, tonight's game was very exciting indeed. gotta love those late inning HRs! i'd rather not see the angels win it...just because they beat the yanks! go giants!!!!!

Posted by: Badger

I'm just glad that the "yanks" did not make it!!!!!!!!!!

This is turning out to be one hell of a World Series. So much for Barry Bonds being a playoff choker, eh? He's hitting .429 with 7 homers.

Bonds is really doing well this time around. Did you see the BLAST he had last night? I'd like to see him to continue to do well but I still have to go with the Angels.

Angels are looking like the better team here after 3 games. The Giant's bullpen can't shut em down like they did in Game 1. Going through the entire line up of batters in two consecutive innings is most impressive. I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but the Giants seem amazingly slow on the base paths. They'll hit a screaming shot to short stop for example, the Angel SS will bobble the ball and still throw the Giant runner out for 10-15 ft. to spare. It's very frustrating to watch.

I've really been able to see in the playoffs why Bonds is such a threat. If you give him any pitch that's decent he barely has to swing and it's out of the park. His swing is so smooth. He has proven to me so far in these playoffs why he is considered one of the best power hitters ever.

The reason the Angels won last night is because they played their game...little hits, no errors, good defense...not the power game that SF plays. If they can do that for two more games they'll win the series no problem.

I agree Bonds is having an excellent playoff, but his stats prior to this year were 97 at bats, .196 average, 1 HR, 6 RBI. I would say his reputation as a playoff choker was not undeserved.

I agree with that. I'm just gald to see him doing well finally.

He has deserved the reputation that he had prior to this WS. I have never really been a B. Bonds fan and I still am not but just to watch him bat is something to see.

Although not a fan of either team, I feel like the Angels has more of a personality which makes it easier to like them. The most exciting thing about either team is the fact that any inning can be a productive one.

Giants pitching in game 3 was terrible but then again with the Angels hitting the way they have been throughout the playoffs whose to say that the pitching was not very good?

I just got booted from mm.com for discussing Barry Bonds's greatness and the World Series. NO IDEA WHY!(?) I am a huge supporter of the Sanfrancisco Giants and Barry Bonds (Personal Favourite). Go Giants Go!!

ORTIZ vs. APPIER, lets hope they can last longer then their last meeting!

Here is the thread...if someone could explain why I was booted that would be appreciated: http://www.musclemagazine.com/bb/sho...threadid=65619

I'm glad that the Angels won. I was really pulling for them. Congrats to them and all of their fans

Glad the Giant's didn't win!!

Congrats to the Angels!! I was hoping to see the Giants win, but they blew their chance in game six. The Angels deserve it. It's great to see a different team win it.
