I want a pair. I am a fan of the barefoot design platform and it's associated philosophy. I think they look cool as well, however I would not have the mesh upper so shear. I would rather it have Cordura Nylon, etc... Newton running Co. makes some tech shoes using the forefoot, (barefoot), running concept. More of a traditional shoe design.

I refuse to support a company that calls a five-toed shoe FiveFingers...are they retarded or just dumb?
I wonder if they could make me a web toed design for swimming, I never trust those toursit assholes to not leave broken glass all over, plus I stepped on a broken piece of coral one day and rashed up my heel bad....

I have 2 pair, they are awesome. Educate yourself on what happens to the foot when it's in a shoe and you will probably start walking barefoot (In vibrams or entirely barefoot) more often. Your heel isn't meant to be elevated, and by doing so you run the risk of tightening your hamstrings and completely changing muscle recruitment patterns when you walk. Not to mention that an artificial arch provides support that the muscles of your lower leg are supposed to provide and since they aren't, they atrophy and cause more problems. The Vibrams do look ridiculous, though. Plus they stink like shit.
