That was at a place called Anderson Truck Trail outside of San Diego. It was a breathtaking scenery. The trail itself was pure hell climbing the whole thing but the trip back down was a pure rush! As you shoot around the bends it is a straight drop 2,000 feet to the bottom. Great time.

I've biked the lower trail before. Did you sign the book at the top of the mountain?

update:

Oh my bad, I didn't read your reply closely...Anderson's truck trail is in the east county of SD....then that lake must be El Capitan, the only water in the mountains like that....

Damn, that scenery looks nice. Cool trails too. Much different from that East Coast technical we're used to. I can't tell what kind of rig ya got there, but it looks like a hardtail. What is it?

Florida was nice! Sunny and warm!

If anyone tells you there are a mountain biker and live in Florida, they lie. Because there are no mountains in Florida. Everything is flat!

It was actually a rental. Let me find the picture of it. For some odd reason my buddy photographed it. Maybe he would know I would forget what I rode lol.

Jersey has some nice places but not if you ever want to go pro. We have 2 local parks for mtb. one park is great for cardio work. Lots of climbing but not very technical at all. The other has a bit of everything but downscaled. Not a place to go if your looking for that epic ride but its still a fun ride. (moderate to very technical areas, rather flat so don't bring your DH. Loads of obstacles(built up logs thoughout the back end. It's like a playground back there for that kind of stuff) Even an area for the BMXers to fly down and jump. really kewel) And yes I tried it on my bike and almost died. hahahaha.
The one good thing about Jersey is that we are near NY and PA. both of which have excellent riding in the mountain (ski) areas. but at least 1 to 2 hrs from me so them be overnighters.

Pretty much the same here,we don't own mountains,we have hills!!!
Plus the landowner (goverment) is covering it's butt,making most trails(singletracks) into SUPERHIGHWAYS!!!8 feet wide covered with gravell,boring!!!

but we have a few unmarked trails...shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!
