Do chicks even care whether or not a guy is ripped. Its weird because when i ddint lift wieght and I was a sack of shit girls used to talk to me all the time. Now that I am 6'0 200 9% bf girls seem to be intimidated? Sure if I go over to them Ill probably get there number, and I get much better looking females. But it seems almost like they expect more out you the worst you look. I mean lifiting doesnt make up for poor social skills or plain being ugly. But i feel i have both decent social skills and look decent, also i dress alright. Sorr yfor the rant.

Some ladies don't like BIG muscular men while others drool over them. In my single years, I found that a good athletic look seemed to be the best. Now my wife says I'm too heavy and she prefers to be on the bottom. Also, she says my legs weigh a ton, so getting tangled up in bed is out of the question.

What I'm finding is that most of the younger girls like the little scrawny 'backstreet boy' look. Which is really a piss off, but there are a lot of scrawny little geeks, but when a girl wants a nice muscular guy the choice gets very limited so you have a better chance.

I think women tend to think sterotypically of ripped/huge guys. They think they are juiceheads/conceited/players/self absorbed ect. There is a HOTTIE at my gym, a friend actually. But i would never date him because his life is the GYM and he is so VAIN. Thats the turn off.

As for being too heavy~ I hear ya, my BF always complains when I push him a lil off me while we doin the nasty

When I'm bouncing I wear a t-shirt that is TIGHT. And everynight I get a few feel ups, even if their boyfriend is right there, they usually say 'honey, look at his arms!' Their guys sure love me for that.

I don't know if this had something to do with my physique or the fact it was Friday, but last Friday I was at our assembly plant watching a few trucks get built. I was at the engine deck area where there were a few women working. I had been there a few hours and was standing near a truck with my left hand on my hip. Before I knew it, a herd of women passed behind me. One of them bumped my left arm causing my hand to slide off my hip. A second later I hear " damn, he does have one", meaning a wedding band. Later, one of the male line workers came up to me and said "man, haven't you noticed? The ladies are gawking at you". Of course I noticed! I have been to the plant a hundred different times, but this visit was unusual. Since it was Friday, I was wearing a snug fitting Polo shirt and jeans. It could have been the shirt and what they saw in it, or it could have been the moon. Either way, it was a boost for the 'ol self esteem.

I'm seeing neither. If you are a complete sweetheart then you get walked all over like a pussy, if you are a complete asshole then they eventually get tired of the bullshit. Trick is to find a happy medium.

i think mmafiter wrote/copy and pasted a whole thread on why nice guys deserve to finish last. some guys are just too easily pussy whipped while others are just plain bastards.

I like all types of different guy body styles.... but have always noticed, that the slimmer ones, not very musclular, yet still strong.. are so much nicer, easier to be with and get along with!

Like my hubby! I luv the gym.. he would never go there! LoL!

Ain't that the truth! Recently, my GF joined me in the gym and commented on the muscularity of one of the gym members.
("He must be really strong, look at all that muscle showing!").

The guy was probably 140lbs at 10%BF (can you say skinny bi*tch?)

So I invited him to train legs with me. He had problems getting my warm-up weights up ..
BUT he could do 300 sit-ups, that's gotta be worth something!

(She asked me 5 mins later: "does that girl have a better body than me". I said Yes, she does.
That wasn't the smartest move to make, but hell, I was mad as hell!).

(but it was a REALLY hot chick, and I should have lied really badly to get away with saying No).

Not all women are the same. No women make sense

(yeah, yeah, yeah...admit it). Some women go for "jacked" guys, but on average, mid-wt, lean guys w/ an "athletic frame" seem to have the most luck. IMHO we guys tend to be more concerned w/ poundages and measurements as 70% of the "how'd you get those guns" comments I hear come from scrawnier guys and the others from women. It's a balance. Women seem to desire a "fit" guy w/ good proportions as my ex's and female friends have said, but "not too big" and there will never be a set size that they want.

and to top it off ALL my BF's exes have had dark hair, as he prefers the dark haired spanish/italian look...and yet he tells me I am the most attractive..HELLO I am blonde with light skin! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Funny I'm just seeing this thread now.

Seven years ago when I finished college, I was 5'11", 145 lbs. Skinny as heck. Then I started working out and added some solid muscle. Women definitely took notice. I'm not "ripped" by any means, but I am a lot beefier now than I used to be. There is no doubt women pay more attention to the beefier me. I'm sure it's not just the muscle, because with that muscle comes more confidence and a better attitude, and that probably had more to do with meeting chicks than the muscle alone.

Even the wife said she would not have dated me if we met when I was skinny. Proof that chicks like the muscle!

Mmm mmm, I love the big meatheads. But they gotta be lean and HOT!!! I've found that most of them, once finally approached, are very sweet. Like big puppy dogs. One of my good friends here is a super hot, young bodybuilder (aka SH#1) if you remember him. He is huge ( 215lb contest weight) and ripped all year round (bout 5-6% bodyfat), around 5' 10". He seems very intimidating when he's in the gym working out, but he is the nicest, funniest person. I watch the high school kids watch him. When one of them finally gets up the nerve to ask him about his training he will spend a lot of time with them and talk to them. Very approachable, very sincere and friendly, but unless you go find out, you'll just think he's another meathead.

There are quite a few big guys at the gym of varying age ranges and 90% of them really are very nice guys, and HOT!

Yes I agree!!

When I first met my hubby he was very built and I wasn't into bb yet, so I found him to be too big. But now that I have started lifting, I seem to like the bigger, muscular look...

So I guess my taste changed...

Depends... athletic, built, ripped... I like various types of male physiques but I definately like the ones that looked 'worked' in some capacity the best.
My husband recently gained back over 20lb of muscle and I'm very much appreciating it... you won't here me complaining about him being too heavy that's for damn sure!

here's what i've noticed about the whole thing...........first of all, girls couldn't fucking care less how much weight you can lift, so bragging about it looks pathetic, which also means really big guys are probably on the outside looking in for most. Girls like muscles but are intimidated by them. The bigger and more cut i get (6'2, 200lbs about 8-10%) the less girls come up to me, but the hotter the ones that do are. Wear clothes that are tight but aren't meant to be tight. Like wearing a lycra shirt to the bar or even the gym makes a dude look like a pickle smoker. If a shirt is tight on you cuz f your arms or chest etc, ood thing and it always gets noticed on me. Oh, there is nothing that will get a girls attention like a cut 6pack.....i've actually had girls gawk at me and say "i didn't know you were THAT hot...." when i took my shirt off.

in short, i believe the most attractive body type to most girls is (forgetting his face) Brad Pitt......obviously muscular yet lithe and cut, not too big, but looks great without a shirt.
