I've been bulking for 7 weeks now. Eating a lot is that the funniest thing but I'm doing it because I'm can't getting any gains at the gym with a 2k calorie intake. When I started with my bulk my arms flex was about 15 inches or just under 15 inches. After 7 weeks my arms around just above 15.5 inches. Is this normal and am I gaining just fat in the arms to get an half inch gain? My strength gain is 20% greater now.

It's fine. You're arms usually don't hold much fat you would have to gain a shit load of fat for it to make your arms bigger.

To gain an inch on your arms most say you need to gain 10lbs of body weight. So bulking seems to be doing the trick for you. Good luck and keeping pushing

I don't know about an inch every 10 pounds, maybe if you didn't work out your legs. I've gained about 50 pounds since I started lifting and added right around 3 inches to my arms. But my arms are almost my weak point so I might be below average for arm gains.

How big are you arms? My goal is to hit 17 inches.
