Originally posted by P-funk Yeah, I have had some good success with the guidlines that yan posted. Another idea would be to eat the way you normally eat and keep a journal that logs you calories, fat, protien and carbs. Pick one day to weigh yourself each week (i.e. I weigh myself every Friday morning). Do this for about 2-4 weeks and go from there: if you are consistently maintaing weight for those four week up your calories a little bit to gain or lower your calories to cut. Bye keeping the journal you will probably realize a lot of things about your diet. You said in your post that before you cared about diet you used to eat like that. Usually problem that most people make in their diet is over or under estimating their daily caloric intake. I can tell you that before I stared writing out my diet I was guilty of that. But after I put it down on paper and looked at it I knew exactly what I had to do, and it worked. |
