"2793.4 calories per day recommended for your Active Caloric Rate. This is:
no more then 93.115 grams of fat (30%) for your Active Caloric Rate
104.75 grams of protein (15%) for your Active Caloric Rate
384.10 grams of carbohydrate (55%) for your Active Caloric Rate"

thats the results i got from "http://www.room42.com/cgi/basal.pl", i was checking ot my BMR after reading the article about knowing your BMR, and so, thats a pretty shite diet for some1 trying to build muslce, isnt it?

Before caring much about diet, i probally used to eat like that, and the fact there was so many carbz i think didnt really change my build for a long time because i exercise quite alot.

So what do you guys think. Will eatting like that heavilly effect my body building.

BTW im 16,134 lb's and 5'7

You will never know until you try eating like that.

Instead of going through those crazy calculators (which aren't accurate anyway) just use these guidelines:

Cals per day:
12 x bw - starting cut
15 x bw - maint.
18 x bw - starting bulk

These are just guidelines and should be adjusted depending on progress (IE if you don't gain .5 lb last week increase to 19 x bw).

Yeah, I have had some good success with the guidlines that yan posted. Another idea would be to eat the way you normally eat and keep a journal that logs you calories, fat, protien and carbs. Pick one day to weigh yourself each week (i.e. I weigh myself every Friday morning). Do this for about 2-4 weeks and go from there: if you are consistently maintaing weight for those four week up your calories a little bit to gain or lower your calories to cut.

Bye keeping the journal you will probably realize a lot of things about your diet. You said in your post that before you cared about diet you used to eat like that. Usually problem that most people make in their diet is over or under estimating their daily caloric intake. I can tell you that before I stared writing out my diet I was guilty of that. But after I put it down on paper and looked at it I knew exactly what I had to do, and it worked.
