Pumps?

I was told by a friend who has his Pro-card, that the "lower back pumps" everyone claims to have on Dbol aren't really "pumps", they are your kidneys crying out in pain from the stress you're putting on your body from running an oral.

Any truth to this?

I think if that were the case it would hurt all the time, but these "pumps" usually seem to happen when working the lower back. I've never had em but I had some pretty painful forearm pumps from dbol and it just felt like an excess of blood and like the tissue was stretching. Also taurine supposedly helps alot of people and I don't think it would if it were a kidney issue.

LOL both could be right my friend. But Dbol isn't really noted for having horrible lower back pumps, that would be Tbol.

my lower back pumps after rack deads, are pretty damn painful I have to say. And today my delt was on fire

For the sake of full disclosure, my friend's pro-card is for Natural body building, so he might be a little bias. LOL.

A "friend" of mine is on sus250 and EQ. He gets severe lower back and lower calf pumps when he runs. He has to stop after a mile just to stretch it out so he can finish his run. No orals. No dbol. Just sust and EQ. Anyone else?

Last year around this time I had a bout with kidney stones. I don't wish that on anyone, but I will say the lower back pumps from the d-bol and T-bol def feel like a case of angry kidneys to me. I've also had a sever kidney infection yrs back so I know when my kidneys are hurting. I just finished a cycle and took d-bol for 5 weeks and def could feel it, but was nothing compared to stones.

I dont think it has anything to do with the compound. I get them with or without aas. sucks

I always understood this to be the kidneys as well

EQ = high rbc count = pumps

how do you explain that taurine helps if it's related to kidneys? Or that it happens during or following a workout in that area (and sometimes is not just lower back)?

How do you know that the taurine actually helps? It could just be a placebo effect. There are no studies to back that up, just bro science.

I don't really, I've never tried it and never had bothersome pumps. I always enjoy them :P

I think the only way to say for sure would be to get kidney tests all through a cycle and see if correlated levels of toxins back it up.

I get lower back pumps while not on anything.. shit hurts.. it's the worst during hamstring curls

Posted by: guthixfed

Ive hear tren and dbol and pretty much anything that inhibits a huge pump is terrible for runners just because when you run you want to delay the pump as long as possible....OH BTW I CANNOT wait to start dbol

Posted by: Mikebeasley69

im on tren and have the terrible pumps on all muscles. i cant get through a full work out- doing squats and after warm up sets i cant hardly walk

Posted by: guthixfed

I was only on tren for a little bit and my run time went up for the 3 miles i have to annually by 4 minutes no bueno from 21minutes to 25 smh

I'm running some DP dbol right now and the dreaded back pumps are almost unbareable at times. I know its not my kidneys cause once I sit down I'm completely fine, no lower back tightness at all. Its literally like an on/off switch, I sit and I'm fine, once I get up and take two steps lower back tightens up like a mofo. Got one more week left, so I'm gonna see it through.

ive never had a "pump". does it feel like a muscle cramp or something similar?

Lol...come on, dude. Don't play the "studies" card here. Do you know of a study linking D-bol-pumps-kindey stress?

Being purely anecdotal here...let's think a bit. If the issue was kidney stress why would it usually surface during lifting? Why would it stop when you stop lifting and relax?

a severe cramp or overload on the muscle- when i do shoulders i can barely carry my gym bag out of gym or even lift my arms for that matter

Posted by: dollarbill

currently on prop ace and anavar and have calf pumps so bad i can hardly walk. should i try some taurine?

Posted by: Illkid

My shoulders kill very painful pumps!

Posted by: bccs

I got wicked low back pumps on 50mg of Dbol. After my 4 weeks on I got labs done and liver and kidneys were perfectly normal so I would say that this rules out the over stressing kidney theory.

Posted by: WantsWidth

low back pumps from superdrol are ridiculous

like you can't even stand up........have to sit and take a break

Posted by: zacthemac

I do get horible back pumps and the taurine definately helps. Its not bro science, it is from people with actual experience.

[QUOTE=Digitalash;2359131]EQ = high rbc count = pumps

I feel you on this my man! And have also been told that taurine works great for the pain... My pumps/kidney pain starts the second I wake up... It's not till I take 2 percs, some taurine and a few 30mg morphines till it feels better...
