BTW Albob, I see that you and I have made the exact same picks. To break the tie, how about we predict final scores? Then we can use the cumulative absolute values of the differences between a team's predicted score and actual score, where the lower number wins.

Yup, I really do think this weekend will be their toughest test. After da' Dirty Birds the next team to worry about is Da' Raiders. In typical Eagle fashion I'm basing this entirely on our defense. Vick's never seen a defense as big and fast as the Eagles and he isn't seasoned enough to handle the HUGE blitz package that's gonna hit him right between the eyes.

If they blitz him he will kill you with his legs.
And when he's not running away, his arm will look like a cannon throwing the ball downfield. Eagles are in trouble.

The Eagles defense never seen a Quarterback
as big and fast as Vick; Eagles blitz if they want to.....

By the end of the game, the new name
for the Eagles secondary will be TOAST
because they're gonna get burned.

The Steeler vs. Titans game was awesome. Funny stuff with the premature fireworks celebration.

I bet that was pretty scary for Atlanta fans when Mike Vick was hit hard at the end zone and had to step out.

What about the running into kicker call?? It wasn't roughing..........
Did the Ump call it just so the Titans could win???

Running into the kicker (which is what happened) is a 5 yd penalty. Roughing the kicker (similar to roughing the passer) is 15 yds. There is a difference. The degree of impact determines which penalty it is. It is up to the official to decide. IMHO, the officials made the right call.
Basically, unless the kick is touched by the defensive team, you can't make any contact whatsoever with the kicker.
