And exactly when's the last time individual statistics won a Stanley Cup. Check out the TEAM standings and you'll find Philly sitting quite nicely, thank-you.

Where do you get this crap? How about a more authoritative look, eh?

ESPN

#1 in the Atlantic Division, #2 in the Eastern Conference and #5 overall in the entire NHL. No, that's not bad at all. True, Da' Dead Wings are #3 but the second season hasn't even started yet.

Yeah like I said "CRAP". Total goals? So what? We're talking wins and losses here.

Does it not take goals to win?

Keep talking Barney, you might just start believing that drivel some day.

Admit it, you looked at the wrong chart and got excited when you saw Philly near the bottom.

I did get excited, but I didn't look at the wrong chart.........

Let's pick up this conversation in a couple of months when it really means someting....................................or we could just keep on trashing the Dead Wings.

It's ok, you can keep trashing the 2002 Stanley Cup Champs if you want. I understand your frustration.

Give up? Not on your life, I merely admitted you were correct. I was terribly frustrated by last year's outcome. This year will be different though.

Yup, Philly is roughly 60,000 shy of Detroit during home games. The Core States Arena holds 20,000 spectators druing a hockey game and Detroit has played two more home games than Philly so, in reality, the difference is only 20,000. So you have 20,000 more Red Wing fans than Flyer fans, that's called handycapping. Sorry bud, even with us spotting you the 20,000 you're still out numbered, out smarted and generally outclassed.
