The All-Star Game was GREAT.

(Hell of a lot better than the Pro Bowl. )

I saw most of the All Star game. It was one of the best I've seen, and the third period was like a REAL hockey game! Jeremy Roenick was flying arond hitting people.

Pro Bowl is not even worth watching IMO

I can see Satan but, Kovalev? Would he fit into Hitchcock's scheme? Don't get me wrong, I'd like to have his talent but we've seen what a shitload of talent with no teamwork will get us. Who do you think would be the marquee name(s) to go?

Posted by: seyone

Players like Kovalev and Satan won't require a marquee player in exchange I don't believe. Both the Penguins and the Sabers can't afford who they have right now so they will probably be shopping around for young talent. Remeber the Jagr deal to Washington? Speaking of Jagr, his name has been thrown around alot as of late in trade talks.

Yeah, I saw that one floating around a few weeks ago but the general concensus is that Hitchcock wouldn't have him, too lax on defense for the money.

yeah, I can't see alot of those guys playing Flyers hockey. Kovalev is such a great talent though.

Too bad too because Jagr sure has the size and he's starting to put it in the net too.

Posted by: seyone

... and the Flyers need someone who can put the puck in the net.

Posted by: ALBOB

Definitely were coming around until the last three games before the break.

hopefully Leclair comes back strong and Gange recovers from his groin injury.
