I picked this up in the store last night... it sounded better than just regular "oats", and i think its at least a little better than my old raisen infested granola.
It's called "multigrain hot cereal with milled flaxseed and soy"
Calories - 160
Calories from fat - 30
Fat - 3g
Sat Fat - .5g
Total Carbs - 25g
*Fiber - 6g
*Sugar - 1g
Protein - 7g
It's also got a little bit of calcium and some iron in it.
Is this ok? Or should i stick to oats? The advertisement of "milled flaxseed" is what made me buy it.
If you gals say plain old oats are better... then you wont get any complaints from me. This stuff tastes horrible!

Yep....I'd stick w/ the regular oats. If you're looking for a change...try using steel cut oats (also called irish or scotch oats)....they look totally different from the regular old fashioned oats and taste better too....not pastey

nice! ill take a look for those steel cut oats today at the store.
im now going to experiment with this foul seed & soy cereal... i wonder if squirrels will eat it?
