Jon Huntsman Would Break Up Big Banks, Wants Tough Settlement For Mortgage Fraud

I like what I am hearing so far. He'll never get the nod from the GOP, unfortunately.

All these guy's are phuquin liars, Dale. They'll say anything to get elected and then phuq everyone over as hard as they can. Kinda like the grade school kid running for class prez. Longer lunch breaks, soda vending machines, 4 day school week and so on.

And to answer your question, I hope not!

Republicans are anti freedom in some areas while Dems are anti-freedom in others. If Republicans had unfettered control, we would prabably have to worry about life sentences for using AAS, and if dems had unfettered control we would have to worry about life sentences for speaking our minds. To seek power, you have to WANT power and therein lies the problem.

"Huntsman called to set a limit on bank size relative to the size of the economy, and to apply a variety of taxes against the banks to make it more costly to exceed that limit. Banks could still choose to exceed the limit and pay hefty taxes, according to a source close to the campaign, but would be strongly encouraged to stay below the line for the sake of their own profitability"

That looks like a loophole to me. That hefty tax doesn't mean anything.

He has good ideas and is smart. He doesn't sell himself like Romney or Gingrich though.

Jon who?

seeing him on stage with the rest of the radical right reminds of that thing from sesame street "One of these things is not like the others, One of these things just doesn't belong"

I vote for them at the local level, that's it.

At this point, I'm pretty sure it doesn't make a helluva lot of difference whichc ticket you choose. Other than the healthcare disaster bill that the Obama admin bribed through the congress, I don't see where the Obama admin is doing things too much differently from the previous one; same out of control borrowing/spending, wars with no end or goal in sight, eroding civil liberties, etc. The only difference is that this admin has the media on its side, so his failures don't get as much airtime as Bush's did. Ultimately, I say the answer is wtf cares? Both parties seem to be putting forth equal effort to run the country into the shitter.

I do like that he calls out the republicans for denying evolution or global warming. I believe he called them unscientific.
