The boy and I will be traveling to the other side of the state tomorrow morning so that he can wrestle in the STATE Tourny.......


Can ya tell I'm just a little proud that he's done so well this year. He made it to the state tourny last year but didn't do so well once he got there. We'll see how it goes tomorrow and saturday.

We got to the tourney Friday morning and weighed in. Looked at the bracketts and his first match was at approx 1:00pm. He went out for the 1st match and won 6-0. His second match was about 9:00pm friday night which he won 6-2. His third match was Saturday Morning at about 10:00 am......he lost 3-2. His fourth match was about 1:00pm.......he lost it by getting pinned. His words to me after the final match was, .........."I did better this year than last." He didn't place at the state level, but I'm happy he has a good attitude.

Hey, going 2-2 in a state tourney is nothing to be upset about. I am sure there were plenty of boys who did worse.

There was a total of 1148 Jr. High kids there wrestling.
