How bad is a milky way?

Just curious...

I was in the convenience store paying for gas the other day when the wrapper of one of those delectable little treats caught my eye. I didn't take the bait, but i had fond memories of eating those things.

Anyway, for someone trying to cut, how much of a setback would it be? I don't think i'd actually do it... but just wondering...

Ok this is coming froim me reading BFL *running to hide*... Basically Bill preaches that it's ok to have a "free" day once a week to confuse your body into thinking it's not on a diet, and also replace glucogen in your muscles. I mean if you want to include a free day, than on that day have a milky way.

But, obviously, the free days would set you back a bit, but I mean it helps some people to stick to the diet, it's kind of like a motive to keep going.

If you want a milky way so badly just have one, but it's going to set you back (no matter how great or small). Giving in to a little milky way could lead to bigger things.

It's totally up to you to have a free day or not, some people think it's great, others think it's a load of rubbish, once again... your choice.

As for how bad it is, it's a typical candy bar...

You want a Milky Way that bad,

Read This

It definately not as bad as a candy bar and it may satisfy your cravings. Protein Bars still are not a good thing to add into your diet but once a week won't hurt. The Detour bars are awesome, they taste like a snickers so I can't wait for this U-Turn bar.

haha

well, i actually havent had a candy bar or even a cookie for that matter in about 1.5-2 years. so im not exactly craving them... just reminiscing.

anyway, what is it exactly about a candy bar that makes it so bad? after all, i thought fats were my friend?

Well the candy bar I believe (although I may be wrong) contai
ns saturated fats (the bad kind), and as a supplement to this, it also has a hell of a lot of sugar...

Candy bars and cutting do not go together.

If you're looking for a rationalization for eating candy bars then I suggest you have one cheat day each week where you eat a couple.

if you're truley trying to cut, don't eat candy bars.

But im not!! Grrr... everyone thinks i want to shove a snickers down my throat.

I really dont have an urge to eat one, im just wondering if theyre as bad as theyre made out to be. Candy bars are like "the" bad food.

that's because they're full (loaded) of simple sugar.

Posted by: Monolith

i wonder how a sugar-less snickers would taste.....
