Don't want to stop cycling?

In another thread, it was requested that I give a real life example of the damage that can be done if one decides to stay on cycle indefinitely. Here is one such case, and this is 100% true. I still see this guy every few weeks:

For anonymity purposes, we will call him numbnuts. Numbnuts decided one day that he was never going to come off cycle. He was running Test and TrenA at the time. Fast forward about a year and numbnuts is still on Tren A, but he is pinning 300mg ED. He is also poping orals like tic tacs. Fast forward another year and numbnuts starts having extreme lower back pain and his skin has turned a yellowish hue. Numbnuts ignores these serious symptoms and continues to cycle. Finally the pain becomes so bad that he decides to see a doctor. The MD, upon seeing the color of numbnuts skin and eyes, decides to check his liver which is enlarged. The doctor orders blood drawn and a CBC/Chem panel run on numbnuts. Obviously his numbers are way the hell out of range. Everything from cholesterol to liver and kidney enzymes. Turns out his kidneys are on the verge of shutting down, and his liver has jaundiced. Numbnuts is ordered to a hospital stay until these conditions can be reversed. With the anabolic hormones leaving his system and shitty hospital food, our friend loses pretty much all he has gained. He comes out of the hospital with a myriad of pills he has to take daily to combat the damage he has done to his body. If you looked at him now, you couldn't even tell that he used to train at all, much less ever used gear. What came out later was that he was also abusing recreational drugs which only added to the havoc which was being wreaked upon his body. He now works the front desk of a gym here in my town and is only in his late 20's. Obviously, he will not live a long life and has to take all those medications daily for the rest of it.

That is why you must be responsible when cycling. By nature, we are the kind of people who like to push the envelope, but we need to use our heads and take time off. Whether you are PCTing or cruising, these important breaks are needed to allow our bodies to heal themselves. I also recommend that blood work be done prior to any cycle to ensure that you are healthy enough to put this stress upon your body. I would not recommend cycling anabolics to anyone who is not deemed in excellent health.

Very good advice and very sad.

One of my friends just past away from heart failure last week, he was on the same boat,
he cycled for the last 2 years straight, was using diuretics, and recreational drugs (high doses) He went from 170 at 6.3 to 290 pounds. And as you can imagine his heart gave up on his sleep.

Oh and he was 25 yo.

Posted by: swollen

Oh man, that sucks...

Posted by: juggernaut

Unfortunately, younger people think they're invincible.
This is a sad story.

GMO, as always much respect to you my friend. Your contributions here are second to none.

Posted by: Gazhole

I've heard stories like this too. Usually the guys involved have massive potential for the future and just take it too far too fast and end up screwing themselves up permanently.

To go from a possible champ of the future to never being able to train again in a matter of months is just sad. All for the sake of impatience. Train for the journey!

Thanks a lot GMO. I respect your mature and conservative approach to this lifestyle and hopefully people read this.

His skin color should have been his first clue he has Jaundice. Jaundice is a yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes resulting from high levels of bilirubin in the blood. Bilirubin is a hemoglobin breakdown product. When erthrocytes get old, they distegrate and release their hemoglobin. The liver and spleen convert hemoglobin to bilirubin. Anyone taking gear should be familiar with the drugs chemical makeup and the effect it will have on their body!!!

Ive got a friend who has been on tren a and test for about 8 months straight now. Last night in the gym actualy he puked several times which is somewhat normal from our leg workout, but his lower back was killing him and has been for two weeks. I told him its time to come off the tren!! But we'll see. I hope we dont have another story in the making

Posted by: unclem

very good thread. i have used gear non- stop 21 yrs but i get my bloods, everything, echos ect , every 3 months and i take organ protectors to. but i trained 12 yrs naturally and didnt start gear until 25 yrs old at modest amounts. but its a great post for all to keep in there minds to get checkups 3 months . hes lucky he didnt go into organ failure but his age was for him. i know his liver is bad but his kidneys must be shot all that tren. i hope he gets better if there is such hope.

300mg Tren A every day????

Posted by: TGB1987

Good example of what could have happen with serious abuse. Bloodwork and time either at cruising or completely off is needed.

It's not sad.

Being stupid should hurt.

Hopefully this guy, and people like him, end up sterile so they can't contaminate the gene pool with their stupidity.

Good write up GMO.

Posted by: rc771

great advice, you really have to build up some mental strength and not rely on the drugs.

You should have your buddy read this. This is definately one of the stories I will relay in the future not only to myself but other people I care about.

I'll be damned if this doesn't make you open your eyes to reality, young or old.

If you don't mind me asking...What kind of recreational drugs were these guys doing?

My buddy was using e and cocaine. not sure if he was on anything else, maybe pain killers, sleeping pills...

Posted by: rc771

it seems like mixing any type of recreation drug with aas is like a death sentence......

I've seen a lot of sad stories just like that ^

Posted by: ANIMALHAUS

I'm surprised he didn't notice all these symptoms. Was he in denial?

Posted by: TonyMack

The goal is to train for the next 30 years. When you think of it on those terms, short sighted goals become insignificant. Never loose focus of your long term goals and what it will take to get there; that includes responsible use of AAS.

Thanks for posting GMO.

just curious but why is that normal? I've never puked from lifting weights.

I saw the video on Tosh (* i think it was tosh) where the dude was squatting and spewed as he was going up all over the guy in the front row.

I have puked a few times after heavy squats and almost always get nauseous. It is a fairly common phenomenon if you are killing your leg training.

Fuck yea! I'm proud to say it's happened twice! haha.

Posted by: juggernaut

I never puked, but the acid indigestion is always there on that day.

Thats why I say take care of yourself and get routine blood work and xtra stuff like unltra sounds cat scans. You tellyour doctior what you want he should be able to do it. Ive been on for many years straight and I dont do any rough orals if anything anavar, proviron, but I dont take heavy stuff eother. So I get routine nblood work every 4 months and if I feel like I need another test my doc does it no problem. But if my levels get out of wack then its timne to take a brreak

Excellent post brotha.

great post gmo!

Sticky...

Posted by: elmo33

if i dont atleast get naseaus on heavy squats, i need to bump the weight up. I always feel like i could, but its not an everyday thing. Lactic acid builds up so fast it causes naseau

Nice read! I would never do that your body just cant handle it. Mine can't anyway. My next cycle will be after cruising for 10 weeks.

Posted by: Grozny

That hurt my liver just reading that, it remind me Andreas Munzer cycle.

I agree. Very knowledge and is always willing to help. GMO is a solid bro.

i kind of wonder about people that have pictures of people like Frank mcgrath in their avi's that agree with doing the typical cycling+lots of time off.

I was away from this site for a while, vannesb, and it looks like you made quite a transformation, judging by your avatar!

Posted by: Powermaster

Tren A for over two years? I was on it for 4 weeks @ 50 mg EOD and thought I was going to die. Numnuts must have had a serious threshold for sleeplessness & pain.

Posted by: Glycomann

I've cycled on and off for 23 years. I always took time off and the size always comes back and the some if you are smart about it. You can use these things for decades and still remain healthy as long as you are smart about it. If you're going to push the envelope make a defines realistic goal and plan your off time just as you do your on time, your diet and your rest. Like most things in life that are worth while, these things take effort, smarts and hard work to get to the goal and the goals should be incremental and realistic.

Personally, I am in my 50s and all my health markers, ekg and stress test results are good if not exceptional. it can be done. Some of the greats are still alive. I even think Arnold is back on and he is in his late 60s now. GO SMART OLD JUICERS GO MOTHER FUCKERS!!!
