The danger of lifting on no carb

I have seen some dumb things at the gym, but I now have done the dumbest thing I have ever seen. I had almost no carbs yesterday and went to the gym at about 10pm....

After doing leg press (which makes me lighted headed on a normal day) I moved over to the squat rack. The bar was loaded with 185 lbs so I decided I would just start with that.

I struggled with my form and always felt off balance but finished the set. Since I had struggled, I decided to do another set to get my form back on track. Same problem.

Took the 25 lbs off of one side and replaced it with a 45 lbs plate, moved to the other side and discovered the problem...There was no 25 lbs plate on the other side.

Ya think that was the problem?

As George on Seinfeld said, "I am Costanza, Lord of the Idiots"

I agree...when my carbs get really low...after a couple days I do the dumbest things....not to mention my shitty attitude

It's funny the way carbs affect people so differently. I actually feel more intelligent without them.

I can do that w/carbs.......lol

I have grabbed a 120 in one hand and a 125 in the other...and not known the difference..and while squatting..there have been a few quater misracks......I just bounce the bar a little over for balance and do the set...lol
