I have mono!

Hi all,

Well, I have mono. There are no antibiotics that help supposedly. I've heard that Tylenol and/or Ibuprofen help. Anyways, the funny thing is, the month that I have not been dieting, is the time I get sick. Another funny thing, I bought l-glutamine peptides and can't seem to choke them down, they're terrible, I think this has put my immune system into whack as well. Anyways I want to tear this bulllshit to shreds! This shit isn't going to keep me down, no sir!

Right now I have a lot of vitamin c, antioxidant blend, vitamin e, glutamine peptides, whey protein, myoplexes, creatine, etc. How can I utilize what I have in order to fucking own this virus? Is there anything I should avoid like the plague ( lol, get it? ); ie, simple carbohydrates, fruits, etc?

This virus picked the wrong bodybuilder to fuck with. I'm going to ring this slut by the neck and say, "Step off bitch this is my party and you're not invited!"

There are ways to reduce your viral load......but first, did they test for Epstein-Barr?

I haven't been tested. I've been sick for 3 weeks straight with every symptom. Also, many people whom live near me have contracted it also.

I can tell you the Natural Antivirals, but I can address E-B better..would help to know?

Olive Leaf Extract...a good one is Nature's Plus Oleo(something) 20...the storgest standardization w/o chemical or stabilizers

Grapefriut seed extract (Nutribiotic)

Elderberry Extract (Sambucol)

Spirulina has some weak AV properties

I had mono before .... BEST way to beat it is REST and more REST. It sucks but IMO...the more rest you get the quicker you will recover...if you try to keep active...it often takes forever to get over it and your symptoms may get much worse.

Haha, I told my mom I didn't have mono!

I have a sinus infection. Thank you for all of the replies though, some good information I can save.

In case you're wondering, DP, they gave me amoxicillin 875mg. I'm supposed to take it twice daily with food for two weeks.

Take Nutribiotics Defense Plus! I had a sinus infection last spring and I took double the dose of this stuff and it 2-3 days it was completely cleared up and without Anitbiotics! It was kick ass!!

My infection was really bad too. I was in a meeting with about 4 other people and all of a sudden yellow stuff came dripping out my nost it was soo gross!

I love this stuff so much that now I keep an extra bottle on hand so when I start feeling like shit I take it. I've been very sick all winter and I have not once been on an antibiotic. The most I've had to take for medicines is Cough Syrup.

That's a recipe for diarrhea and most likely a waste (90% plus chance it's viral). Consider a strong Probiotic (Jarrow or Flora) afterwards....it's a waste until then, the antibiotic will kill it!

(Jodi is right IMHO, Defense Plus is the best stuff we've seen......I gave 1/2 a bottle to the receptionist at the Doctor's office when she was on the verge of sick...and she never got sick...instead, better rapidly, they wanted to give her drugs too.....and countless sinus, and URI's have been stoped cold w/it! )
