Hi guys this is my first post on this forum but i have been reading for a couple of weeks and it has been very helpfull.
I am looking for a Blended protein drink but in australia i am having trouble getting or being able to afford some of the ones you have suggested in previous threads, but i did find one that "looked" ok which is "Designer Whey" which contains Glycerlean.I am trying to lose bf at the same time as gain muscle(hard work!!) and i notice that lots of the blended protein powders have high carbs and sometimes fats.Is this product any good?.
I have to say i am pretty disappointed....My first thread....26 views ....no replies?....maybe i should go elsewhere

Designer Whey is fine for a Protein Powder. I find them more expensive then necessary which is why I buy Optimum.
Don't invest too much on the idea of Glycerlean cuz its just another marketing too. IMO But Designer Whey is good.

I agree...stick to the basics....a simple whey protein. Anything over and above that is usually a gimmick to get your money. Even if the 'addition' make a difference they're so small it's definately not worth the extra $$

If you have a fast metabolism....just get a fat source...and if you need to, some casein w/whey at bedtime....and save $$ on that overpriced, overadvertized, over-rated crap...JMHO (I know, I sell it...lol, actually sell very little of it because of that advice)
